Hello everyone! made entirely from the Godot Engine and done within one week, I'd like to reveal what I've been working on for the Itch.IO's Low Rez Challenge: Angel Riders, a short 2D SHMUP game where you can pilot 4 available ships and fly across 3 short but perilous stages to earn points for the highscore! This short demo can be downloaded from this page: https://corruptinator.itch.io/angel-rider-experimental-demo If you have any feedback about this game, please comment away because I'm always looking for ways to improve whatever makes this video game more polished and complete, also I'm not going to stop where I am at because I was planning on rewriting the code and tweaking this game to be more appealing and control tight for anybody to play. P.S. I couldn't figure out how to upload images or gifs to the forum to show you previews of the game I've worked on. Sorry! UPDATE: After reading the requirements for posting games in this forum, I should explain further about this game. What is this game about? It's about four ships, available from start to allow players to fly through three short but perilous stages as more enemies arrives to destroy you. Your task is to survive and get across all three stages to earn a lot of high score points. You start off with 5 lives, but if they are depleted, then it's game over for you and you lose your highscore. To make matters challenging, there are also four difficulties available from Easy to INSANE! Depending on what difficulty you've beaten this game on, you can earn an easy multiplier for the maximum highscore! Who worked on this game? Corruptinator - Art, Programming, Stages, Game Idea Puppy Barks - Additional Art (Enemies) Agevkired - Programming Assistant What needs to be done? (To put it simply, this game is going to be redone the right way and organized to become a brand new game) - Some of the code used for this game will be reused and fixed, - Sound and Music will be implemented, - Might include an epic storytelling adventure, - 4-PLAYER CO-OP!
