Ghost motion trail effect for cutout animation

Hey developers! I've made a tutorial of how i made a ghost trail effect similar to the one in Castlevania or Megaman dash effect. The thing is that i managed to get the effect with cutout animations. The audio is in spanish, but it has english subtitles. You can watch it here!

It's just the way i managed to get the effect... if someone knows how to do it better, or with shaders/particles.. please tell me!

Thanks! i watched your tutorial, althought i didnt understood a word, i did see your code and how you did that.. i did it little bit different with Tweens.

It has english subtitles, did you enabled them?

What you used tweens for? For transparency? If it works better that way, may be you could make a tutorial, or share your changes here for the community!
