i'm seeing that containers might be helpful for fitting some hud elements proportionally, and perhaps we might be able to change the text size with some code into "func _ready()" - for what i'm targeting, the goal is being able to have those 3 screenshots above looking exactly the same, or at least very close - the issue i'm seeing is that 3 typeface sizes are far not enough when we have screen sizes that might vary by few pixel units, and considering how easily we can create lots of different display resolutions merely by creating modelines or xrandr scaling - a great reference for me about scalable opengl games are Kenta Cho's ones (i really recommend playing all of them from him, truly amazing imho), the font sizes there get really proportional, and the "responsivety" on different proportions (like 5x4 and 64x27, instead of 16x9, 8x5 or 3x4, and vertically as well, is truly great as well)
