Just saw this tool new tool (at least new to me) on gamefromscratch. Nice free material maker made in Godot...looks like it was made by @RodZilla . Looks good! Check it out!

this post deserves a bump. I discovered this yesterday. If you're like me and know little about making materials- bonus! There are also TONS of premade materials you can download from the website : https://materialmaker.org

You can download any of them and open them into material maker for export then use in your own project. It's a little clunky but seems to me like a huge HUGE resource.

Worth a note that while the material is indeed great what really makes that particular image is the light simulation - it is raytraced.
