This topic is so broad, you are talking about a lot of code. Any guide would be very long if it was trying to explain everything it has to do. Maybe there is a godot rts example project you can look at? The important thing to remember is there's no one way to do it. You can design and build your game any way you want to, which problem are you trying to solve right now?
