The Pre-alpha gameplay looks awesome!
Why did you switch from Construct to Godot? I thought Construct looked pretty promising at first, but ran away at max speed when I remembered that game engines aren't usually open source.
Sorry for the delay, but thank you very much!
About the engine switch... Construct has TONS of limitations, and I was basically facing a dillema. Either I'd have to remake the whole game (or at least every single performance-intensive part of it) in Construct's JavaScript (which is pretty unsupported in comparison to GDScript; or I'd have to simply switch engines and remake it from scratch; and since I was interested in Godot for quite some time, I thought this as an opportunity.
Besides, every single implemented feature in Godot's version is already infinitely superior both in terms of customizability, performance, organization, and maintenance-requirement than Construct's. Really, the list of advancements & overall improvements brought by this switch is already immeasurable.
