How do we set a 2D sprite's "Z Index"(draw order) in Godot 4 Alpha15+ ? Let us know, thanks!

Amazing never before seen dev screenshot is below!:
Sprite2D has a z_index member (in both Alpha15 and Godot 3.5) which defaults to 0. Higher numbers render later.

RenderingServer.canvas_item_set_draw_index(Sprites.ci_rid[index], 500)
