This year I really put my head down and moved on from RPG Maker and visual scripting. I attribute a lot of my coding growth to Heartbeast and am thrilled to say that in the same year I learned to actually code, I released a game into Early Access (Which has actually been getting some pretty good reviews from people who've played it!)
This is my first project that has made it out of the ever growing uncompleted projects folder.
It's gone through tons of iteration and even for a seemingly simple title... MAN is it a lot of work. I do not know how solo devs can muster up the motivation, skill and focused effort to make things bigger than this.

To be frank, while making a little extra pocket change is nice. Actually having a thing out there that wasn't out there before because of me is a really nice feeling.. and each of the reviews I've gotten, even if they didn't buy the game and might be swayed because they got a free key, means SO much to me.
Someone left a novel of a comment on a post I made on Steam and I literally was in tears reading it.
