Multiple projects versus just one.

From having worked on some projects. I think it's better to have more than one project versus just one. With having just one project, I become tired of it. And often I have a different idea I would rather work on. But, I wonder if it would get too confusing.

I always have multiple projects to work on. Sometimes it's hard to find inspiration and motivation while working on a singular one. Having multiple projects, allows me to take breaks. Working on game project can especially be tiresome as a single developer and having to take care of everything.

Maybe it's hard to actually finish a project, but for me working on games is like solving puzzles. I like to make games just to challenge my mind and see what I can achieve with just a bit off thinking and imagination. A cool game at the end is just the icing on the top. That's just how I see it as a hobbyist.

I think it's ok to have multiple demo or prototyping and testing projects, but if you want to get something actually done they should most if not all be projects geared towards supporting your main project. A matter of discipline to keep yourself working towards success and finishing your main project then.

If your project does not inspire you to get out of bed and work hard, I doubt having more than one is going to help. Needing discipline IMHO underscores lack of confidence in the project. The idea has got to whip up passion, dawwwwwwwg.

I think what I need to do is decide which project I want to work on right now. And I think I know which one.
