The latest beta is really starting to feel like a major step in the right direction. Other than me dropping a directional3d light into the scene, completely locking up my PC then eventually hardbooting it ( only happened the once ), I would say this is the first beta build that I feel more comfortable with.
And... omg I love the softshadows. Has static lightmapping been implemented yet? I was unable to find the BakedLight node. ( edit :: nvm, found it.. just had been renamed is all. 🙂
