Evolve the "z" of my object

Hi,
I wanted to know if it was possible to modify the 'z' of my object in 2d with keys.

For example, if I have 2 objects on the same 'z', I would like that if I touch on the 'up' key, one of my objects hides the other because it will have a 'z' greater than the another, and vice versa with another key.

Yes, put them into YSort node (https://docs.godotengine.org/en/3.0/classes/class_ysort.html).
Then switch their position in this node.
