Hello, am working on a pinball project for my school

I created the plunger for the pinball game but as you can see in the gif below, the ball isn't being shot high by the plunger even tho the plunger scales down and up instantly, the ball remains standing still on it, I tried messing with the mass and weight and gravity values of the rigid ball but it still produced no results

Physics object cannot be scaled. It may work if you move it. Otherwise I would recommend apply a force.
