I've had pretty good luck with it then.
My complex 2D game is mostly ported from v3 running without crashes.
I am upset about the change with Tweens though. They should have offered to keep them in the scene tree, for signal connections and persistence, and made a new style of tweens for those who wanted those. Reminds me of Python 2 to Python 3 upgrade.
No one is reading this but, for future changes, Godot should set a policy of making developers who want to break compat, also have to build an upgrade tool
