Yeah, never a good idea to use anyone else's work. I actually got into trouble years ago with Paramount Pictures and almost got my account deleted. Now I get all my music on this site, it's not cheap, but if you do YouTube seriously or are making games it's well worth it.

Odysee works. Maybe sync your YouTube account as I think there are likely less restrictions there.

It's sort of like a Web 3.0 version of YouTube (no relation) where you can get crypto if people like your videos. It's not that popular yet, but I think the interface is better than YouTube and I wanted to support them. Once you sync your YouTube account, it copies over all your past (and future) videos, so there is not much effort involved.

I'm on the lookout for a course on VR in Godot, Udemy doesn't seem to have it. Specifically for oculus quest. Anyone know of any?

Haha I'm glad people like the worm, because that was the biggest pain in the ass. I'm not good at animating in blender and somehow it came through on two tracks...

Still, gives me something to talk about in a video down the track.

Think I know why the FPS took a dive over the weekend:

I forgot I gave it teeth!

I remember now I had a nightmare trying to weight paint its mouth with them, so in the end I had the worm off in the distance where you can't even see 'em >.<

Edit: I like the cliffs, they look pretty realistic. Are they clad in real world textures ?

They're Quixel assets (I have a sub), so I imagine they are. This is like LOD level ₄ or something, so they come much higher detail, but as BG objects I kept them lower.

The worm textures were from TextureHaven and I borked the UVs around the mouth but couldn't be bothered to fix it.

New problem with VR. My device won't connect to my PC all of a sudden. It recognizes the device sometimes, but not the hand controllers- as I watch them do stuff in the VR realm. They work, everything works on the VR device, it just doesn't connect to the PC.

That was the most amazing video ever. I think it totally changed my mind about a game concept I had.

So, Stray is out. I'm a little disappointed in that the jumps are pre-scripted so you don't miss. Still looks like a pretty good game.

I don't want to make another thread just to share something so small, so here is some video footage of that game I was working on. I'm not releasing the game for now but, what do you think?
