Like I said, it has potential. I find that rudimentary games seem to work okay on Itch, while players on Steam expect more from the graphics. So you might find a niche there, but I still think the overall animation needs work. You can also consider releasing for free with donations. It probably won't make a lot of money, but at least you can get people playing it, making videos, following you if you decide to make a future games, etc. so it's good marketing.
Just to give you an example, I made a little over $400 on all my demos total after about 6 months. This is really not much money at all, but it covered the costs of the assets I purchased. Granted these are like 2 minute demos, and not games, so I think I would have made more if they were longer experiences. Even so, it was worth it to gain exposure. I got over 1,000 new followers on Twitter just from that, which will be important for my future projects (which I plan to charge for).
