Here is a tutorial on how to do something similar in Godot:
Fun Noober Code is so underrated, you should subscribe to him. Still, what I'm most concerned about is being able to make my own level editor for any game I'd create, so that players can make their own single player experiences; this is something I don't have any clue on how to do. I'd also want to be able to do more context sensitive animations in my game. For example, they're already Godot tutorials on how to make a character that can enter a vehicle yet there is no tutorials out their on how to make the animations for entering the vehicle. They're also no tutorials on how to do takedown animations or how to do a third person cover system. Of course, I'm not entitled; if these tutorials never get made, it is what it is and perhaps I'll just have to figure it out on my own. I'm just listening what I care about; they're also Unity tutorial out their on how to do takedown animations. Of course, I'm not going to use Unity. If I were to use Unity, that would make me "idiot" or so I've heard.
Also, I have my own plan on how I'll learn how to make take down animations in Godot; it will involve looking at the code of open source projects and trying to understand what's going on with them. I mean, they're other types of thing you can learn for that one skill, perhaps I could make a game where they're zombies that grab the player resident evil-style( I'm playing to start another project in Godot).
