Ie I wanted to build a life simulator, but it has very different graphics- which the ones I'm not making are already paid for- and pre-bought animations, and different mechanics. Yes, the characters walk, run, chat, etc, but the game isn't a satire, point and click, or very casual. I'd say it's more along the lines of a strategy. How long can you keep your virtual family from starving/going into debt or being forced to live in the slums/survive the wilderness you sometimes get thrown into/dying out?
Not to mention, the weird occurrences that throw a monkey wrench when they happen, but I won't spoil it. Suffice to say it's less kid-friendly, and has gore, albeit very minimal. No rabbit holes, no set of buttons to choose how well you do things, skills with absolutely no progress unless you as the player perform actions.
Very hardcore.
